The Come-See-Me Community Service Merit Awards are presented each year to those who spend countless hours striving to improve the lives of so many. We need your help to find these volunteers so they can be recognized for the difference they’re making in our community!

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2018 Come-See-Me Community Service Merit Awards. Candidates will be considered if they meet the following criteria:

  • The nominee must be an individual. No companies, groups, or organizations will be considered.
  • The nominee must be at least 13 years of age.
  • The nominee must be a volunteer with a nonprofit or religious organization within York County. No staff members will be considered.
  • The nominee must not be a past recipient of the award. You may view a list of past recipients here.

If you know of a deserving candidate, submit your nomination no later than Wednesday, November 8, 2017. You’ll need to provide contact information for both the nominee and yourself, as well as a description (500 words or less) of why you believe the nominee should be considered for the award.

After the submission deadline, a panel of judges will review the nominations. Following the selection, award recipients will receive surprise visits and invitations to the Come-See-Me Logo Unveiling Breakfast in February 2018 where they will be publicly recognized. We look forward to receiving your submissions. Thank you for helping us recognize these deserving individuals!
