Festival Spotlight: Volunteers

Diverse Hands Holding The Word Volunteer

Volunteers are the heart of the Come-See-Me Festival. In fact, we’re the largest all-volunteer festival in South Carolina. Each year, hundreds of people from throughout Rock Hill and York County come together to make over 80 events happen in ten days. Today, we’ll tell you what you need to know to get involved.

Let’s start by talking about why you should volunteer with Come-See-Me. First of all, it’s a great opportunity to meet people from all over Rock Hill. Our volunteers come from all walks of life and all age groups. You’ll also feel more connected with your community and will have a new appreciation of this place we call home. There are some other fun perks as well: If you sign up by the first week of March, you’ll be guaranteed one of our coveted Come-See-Me volunteer t-shirts (sponsored by First Citizens Bank)! You’ll also be invited to our Volunteer Party prior to the festival.

Volunteer opportunities are available for events throughout the festival. Whether you’re available during the daytime or evening, weekend or weekdays, there are ways for you to get involved. All you have to do is go to our online registration portal and select the opportunity that works for you. You’re welcome to sign up for as many events as you’d like as long as your shifts don’t overlap.

If you have questions about volunteering or need additional information, email Leah McCraney, Come-See-Me Volunteer Coordinator, at [email protected]. We hope you’ll be a part of all the fun at this year’s festival!
