Nominations Are Now Open for the 2019 Community Service Merit Awards

Do you know someone who’s made a difference in York County? We want to know who they are! Come-See-Me is now accepting nominations for the 2019 Community Service Merit Awards.

Who can be nominated?

The Community Service Merit Awards are presented to individuals who volunteer with nonprofits and religious organizations within York County, SC. Awardees must be at least 13 years old. (Read about the 2018 honorees.)

What is the review process like?

A panel of judges will review all of the submitted applications and will determine the honorees.

How will they be honored?

Awardees will be publicly announced at the Come-See-Me Logo Unveiling Breakfast in February 2019. They will also have the opportunity to ride on a specially-designated float in the Come-See-Me Parade on Thursday, April 4, 2019.

How can I nominate someone?

You may submit your nomination online through the Come-See-Me website. You may also download a paper nomination form and return it to the Come-See-Me Festival office via mail, fax, or email.

When is the deadline?

Applications are due to the festival office no later than Thursday, November 8, 2018. Please note that late entries will not be considered.
