On August 21, the continental United States will get its first total solar eclipse in 38 years! While the Sun will remain partially visible in York County, parts of both North and South Carolina will be in the eclipse path. What is an eclipse? Where in the Carolinas will the total eclipse be visible? What can you expect to see in York County? How can you safely view this eclipse? Answers to these questions and more will be shown in the Settlemyre Planetarium.
